Sorry Day Bridge Walk

On National Sorry Day, headspace Batemans Bay was proud to join the community on the Sorry Day Bridge Walk.

26 May marks the anniversary of the tabling of the Bringing Them Home report in Federal Parliament in 1997, and the beginning of National Reconciliation Week.

On Sorry Day we come together to remember and acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations survivors, as well as the pain caused by unjust policies and the ongoing impact on our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
