While things are moving with COVID-19, we want you to know that headspace Knox is keeping up to date with local services and will keep our website and social media up to date with any groups or activities available online.

 

eheadspace Group Chats

eheadspace run regular group chats every Monday to Friday from 6pm - 10pm. on a variety of different topics. For more information please click here.

Art for Exploration and Fun 

Spend an afternoon exploring your creative side with illustration, creative memoir, song writing and having fun in a creative workshop with artist and facilitator Heidi Everett.

Take time out of your day to do an at-home art activity run by Alisa, to help you relax, focus, and socialise.

Satellite CONNECT 

A free program for young people aged 17-23 years who have a parent and/or carer with a mental illness. 

Providing opportunities for young people to be heard and the power of their experiences to be shared through a supported and positive platform.

This is a six week program and all participants are invited to attend a weekend retreat at completion of the program (due to social distancing dates TBC).

LGBTIQ+ Pathways to Resilience - Therapeutic Group 

Family Access Network is starting a new group to connect and support LGBTIQ+ young people (12-25) who have experienced family violence.

During COVID-19 this group will meet in a private online space.

Wear it Purple - support for LGBTQI+ Young People

It’s important to stay connected during this time, so Wear it Purple have created a safe space online to encourage communication, support, and a sense of community to combat any feelings of isolation for our rainbow youth across Australia.

Harry Potter At Home

J.K.Rowling is delighted to introduce Harry Potter At Home to help children, parents, carers and teachers add a touch of Harry Potter magic to your daily lives.

The first Harry Potter Book is available to listen to for free in six different languages.

There is a dedicated space where you will find the latest things to keep you occupied from special activity kits, to magical craft videos, fun articles, quizzes, puzzles and more. To access Harry Potter At Home click here.

P.E with Joe

Joe started his YouTube channel ‘The Body Coach’ with the goal to offer free home workouts to everyone. Joe has now started P.E with Joe which hosts free daily workouts check out his announcement here.

FREE Calm AP

The Calm App has released content free of charge to help navigate the uncertainty of COVID-19. Calm are sharing some tools they are using to take care of their minds and stay grounded during this time, this includes soothing meditations, sleep meditations, calm kids, mindfulness resources and many more.

Although Melbourne Museum’s doors are closed their hearts and minds remain open. Melbourne Museum has a museum at home project where you can connect, explore and learn more from your favourite museums every day. Zoos Victoria may be closed but they are bringing the zoo to you! Zoos Victoria are live streaming their zoos including Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo so you can enjoy animals at home! Click here to check out the live feeds

 

EV's Hangout at home

While EV's is closed for the time being, we would like to introduce #hangoutathomeStarting today, Ash & Marcus will be available every Thursday from 3-5pm for live chat through Facebook & Instagram messenger (with voice/video chat available upon request) Give EV's a message with the name of the worker you would like to chat to, or just write anyone if you're not fussed! They will also be posting creative ways to keep yourself entertained, live streams and more!
