About

headspace Emerald is a free or low cost, confidential service that helps young people in the Central Highlands region aged 12-25 with their mental health and wellbeing. We liaise closely with General Practitioners, Sexual Health Services, Vocational Education Services and Alcohol and Other Drug Services so that we can focus your care on your individual needs whilst working with our in-house team to offer you tailored support.

headspace Emerald is operated by Anglicare Central Queensland . All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN.

Services

Services could include: provision of contraception and advice, testing, support, treatment and management of sexually transmissible infections(STI) HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis vaccination for Hepatitis and HPV, pregnancy testing and referral.

If you live near our headspace centre in a rural area but cannot travel in to see us, you can see our mental health workers online.

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug concern.
